Rijuta currently heads the legal department at aCommerce, an e-commerce enabler across Southeast Asia. She brings over 14 years of experience working as a General Counsel in the retail, e-commerce, fintech, construction and interior design, mining, and manufacturing sectors. In her current role, she has overseen the growth of aCommerce from its startup stage to becoming IPO-ready. In addition to her broad General Counsel responsibilities, she focuses on commercial and compliance matters, corporate governance matters, capital market laws, technology laws, and data privacy issues. She also serves as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) at aCommerce. With a strong track record of delivering effective legal solutions, Rijuta adeptly navigates complex regulatory landscapes, ensuring business success and fostering innovation in the ever-evolving digital landscape. Rijuta is a qualified lawyer in India with extensive experience working across the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East, and parts of the EU. She has been living and working in Thailand since 2013.

In more recent years, he has developed a burgeoning interest in block chain and cryptocurrency, and the potential of these technologies to transform traditional financial systems.
